Property managers and building remodelers of every kind—from GCs, to painters, to electricians, to plumbers, to window installers and wood floor refinishers—are affected by the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Renovation, Repair and Painting (RRP) Rule. If you renovate homes or child-occupied facilities built before 1978, we recommend you take our Lead Safe Renovator – Initial class. Firms caught violating the RRP rule may be fined thousands of dollars per violation through Wisconsin’s Department of Health Services. Go ahead and sign up for upcoming lead training here.
Where Can I Take a Lead Training Class?
Testudo plans lead courses about three months in advance, so we always have upcoming classes. You can look at our lead training schedule here. Class price varies slightly, depending on where the class is taking place and who our operating partners are. We hold regular classes in Madison.
Group Lead Training
If you have a group of six workers who need RRP certification, Testudo will come to you! We hold classes throughout Wisconsin, even in remote outposts like Washington Island in Door County. Of course, group discounts are available. Contact us today at firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss how Testudo can serve you, or call us at 608-205-8025.
