Course Description

This course meets Wisconsin’s Department of Health Services (DHS), EPA, and HUD requirements to help you become a Certified Renovator under the Renovation, Repair and Painting (RRP) rule.

Skills Learned

Understanding where lead hazards can be found; how to safely work around lead hazards; record keeping requirements; waste disposal requirements; and proper clean up procedures. Why do You Need This Training?

Each building firm that performs renovations or repair work on homes and child-occupied facilities that were built before 1978 must have at least one employee certified as a Lead Safe Renovator and must also certify their firm as a Lead Safe Company.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations/Changes and Refunds: Fees will be refunded, less a $30.00 processing fee, if cancellation or change resulting in a refund is received in writing no later than three business days prior to training class. After that date, fees are non-refundable. All refunds will be processed after the training session.
