We offer the full suite of lead paint certification training classes to perform renovation or abatement work regulated by WI’s Department of Health Services (DHS), including both initial & refresher offerings.

Wisconsin Lead Renovator & EPA RRP - Initial Training Class

Complete this one-day 8-hour class & you are eligible to apply for the Lead Safe Renovator certification in Wisconsin or the the EPA’s Renovation, Repair & Painting (RRP) rule.

Prerequisites: This course has no prerequisites

Why do I need this certification?
This education is mandated nationwide for painters, remodelers (including general remodelers, siders, window installers, wood floor sanders, and all their subcontractors) and property managers who remodel pre-1978 housing or child-occupied buildings & disturb any coating (paint, stain, shellac or varnish)

Wisconsin Lead Renovator & EPA RRP - Refresher Training Class

Complete this 4-hour class & you are eligible to re-apply for the Lead Safe Renovator certification in Wisconsin or the EPA’s Renovation, Repair & Painting (RRP) rule.

Prerequisites: You should hold a valid Lead Safe Renovator certification, or your certification should not be more than 12 months expired.

Wisconsin Lead Abatement Worker - Initial Training Class

Complete this one-day 8-hour class & you are eligible to apply for the Lead Abatement Worker (LAW) certification in Wisconsin. LAWs may perform work only under the direct supervision of at least one Lead Abatement Supervisor at all times.

Prerequisites: Completion of the Lead Safe Renovator course is required before completing this course.

Why do I need this certification?
This training is mandated for painters, remodelers (including general remodelers, siders, window installers, wood floor sanders, and all their subcontractors) and property managers who will perform work on lead-based paint abatement projects.

Wisconsin Lead Abatement Worker - Refresher Training Class

Complete this one-day 8-hour class & you are eligible to apply for the Lead Abatement Worker (LAW) certification in Wisconsin. LAWs may perform work only under the direct supervision of at least one Lead Abatement Supervisor at all times.

Prerequisites: You should hold a valid Lead Abatement Worker certification, or your certification should not be more than 12 months expired.

Wisconsin Lead Abatement Supervisor - Initial Training Class

Complete this two-day 16-hour class & you are eligible to apply for the Lead Abatement Supervisor (LAS) certification in Wisconsin. At least one LAS must be on-site supervising lead abatement work at all times.

Prerequisites: Completion of the Lead Abatement Worker course is required before completing this course.

Why do I need this certification?
This training is mandated for painters, remodelers (including general remodelers, siders, window installers, wood floor sanders, and all their subcontractors) and property managers who will supervise lead-based paint abatement projects.

Wisconsin Lead Abatement Supervisor - Refresher Training Class

Complete this one-day 8-hour class & you are eligible to re-apply for the Lead Abatement Supervisor certification in Wisconsin.

Prerequisites: You should hold a valid Lead Abatement Supervisor certification, or your certification should not be more than 12 months expired.
